FAQ's

How long will my semi-permanent makeup last? 

After your initial first session, we will always see you 4 - 6 weeks later, to perfect the results of your procedure. With semi permanent makeup, your results will fade, so we always highly recommend an annual 12 month top up, to keep results and colour looking fresh. 

Does having semi-permanent hurt? 

During the procedure, numbing cream can be applied prior to the treatment and throughout the procedure. 

What can I expect during the healing process? 

You may experience some light scabbing, flaking and dryness. We suggest that you do not remove any flaking skin, as to not disturb the pigment. This is perfectly normal. Once the skin has flaked, the pigment will appear a little lighter. After four weeks this pigment will grow in strength again, as it flourishes to the top of the surface, giving you your true results. Initial results can appear a lot darker immediately after the treatment, which is also normal. 

Will there be swelling after my treatment?

Yes, most clients have slight, minimal swelling is normal with this treatment.This swelling slowly subsides over 7-10 days. 

 

 

What happens if I have an allergic reaction or complication?

We are well equipped with epipens, adrenalin, dissolving agents and are fully trained for any complications that can occur. Your advanced practitioner will fully advise what the procedure is during your consultation. They will go through all potential complications and reassure you as to how they would be dealt with, should they occur.
